A biological signal system
for the canopy.

Verdara® is built around Farmbright's proprietary Verdaris Formulation Technology — a process developed to concentrate, stabilise and enhance the delivery of a complex profile of natural plant growth compounds.

The Verdaris™ process uses controlled micronisation of the active botanical matrix and combines it with a proprietary bioavailability enhancement complex designed to support extraction, dispersion, leaf coverage and foliar delivery.

Verdara® is not a conventional foliar feed. It is a biological signal system designed to support the crop at the growth stages where yield potential is being formed.

Natural cytokinins and zeatin

Support cell division, early growth architecture, reproductive development and grain or seed-fill duration.

Free and peptide-bound amino acid complexes

Provide immediately available biological building blocks that support protein synthesis and enzyme activity during rapid growth windows.

Naturally chelated micronutrient matrix

Zinc, iron and manganese in biologically active chelate form, supporting photosynthetic enzyme function and carbohydrate metabolism.

Biostimulant growth factor complex

Supports root-to-shoot signalling, stomatal regulation and crop resilience during variable seasonal conditions.

Natural osmoprotectant compounds

Support cellular function during heat or moisture stress across the most yield-sensitive stages of the season.

A system, not an ingredient.

Verdara® is not a raw plant powder or a crude botanical extract. Verdaris™ is our proprietary formulation system that transforms a high-activity botanical matrix into a practical broadacre foliar input — designed for real paddock conditions, standard spray equipment and commercial-scale crop programs.

  1. 1

    Precision-Micronised Botanical Matrix

Verdara® uses a precision-micronised botanical matrix processed to a controlled foliar-grade particle range. The increased surface area supports extraction during steeping, cleaner suspension, more consistent spray preparation and improved contact with the foliar surface.

    • Controlled foliar-grade particle range
    • Higher available surface area
    • Improved on-farm extraction
  2. 2

    Assisted Biological Transport

A proprietary transport-support system designed to improve the movement and availability of active biological compounds during foliar application — helping the biological signal complex reach the canopy in a form the crop can use.

    • Compound mobility support
    • Cross-leaf delivery
    • Bioavailability enhancement
  3. 3

    Leaf Coverage & Adhesion System

Foliar inputs must remain on the leaf long enough to be useful. Verdara®  includes a natural leaf-coverage support system designed to improve wetting, spreading and adhesion — creating more uniform canopy contact and better opportunity for foliar uptake.

    • Improved wetting & spreading
    • Canopy-wide adhesion
    • Cuticular & stomatal uptake support
  4. 4

    Powder Stability & Dispersion System

A proprietary dry-powder performance system designed to improve flowability, reduce clumping and support even dispersion during preparation. Field usability matters: a biological product cannot perform if it is difficult to handle, inconsistent to mix or unreliable at scale.

    • Improved flowability
    • Reduced clumping
    • Even spray dispersion
  5. 5

    Buffered Activation Environment

The formulation includes a proprietary activation-support system designed to create a more consistent steeping environment when growers prepare the spray solution — supporting extraction and availability of bioactive compounds before foliar application.

    • Consistent steeping window
    • Stable activation environment
    • Pack-to-pack consistency

Three yield-forming windows that shape final yield.

Each Verdara® Broadacre application is timed to a different yield-forming decision in the crop. The program is designed to support broadacre performance from early growth architecture, through reproductive development, and into grain or seed fill.

Verdara® FAQ.

What is Verdara®?

Verdara® Broadacre is a precision biological foliar powder for major broadacre crops, including wheat, barley and canola, powered by Farmbright's Verdaris™ Formulation Technology. It is applied at tillering, booting and heading / grain fill to support the crop during the growth windows that shape final yield.

Read the bioscience
Is Verdara® just a plant powder?

No. Verdara® Broadacre is not a raw plant powder or a crude botanical extract. It is a proprietary biological foliar input powered by Farmbright's Verdaris™ Formulation Technology. Its performance model depends on the full Farmbright system: controlled sourcing, precision micronisation, formulation enhancement, dry-powder stability, the steeping protocol, foliar delivery design and timed application across key yield-forming windows.

See the Verdaris system
Is Verdara® a fertiliser?

Verdara® Broadacre is not positioned as a conventional foliar fertiliser. It is a biological foliar input designed to deliver a complex profile of plant growth compounds and biostimulant factors at key crop stages.

What does it cost?

Verdara® Broadacre is available for direct purchase at $95 AUD per hectare excluding GST. GST is added where applicable. Growers buy the product, apply it through their own equipment and retain 100% of any yield gains.

How much product do I need?

Verdara® Broadacre is applied at a total seasonal rate of 3 kg per hectare, split across three 1 kg/ha applications. Farmbright supplies Verdara® in bulk formats suitable for broadacre use, including 20 kg bags, 200 kg drums, 400 kg FIBC and 800 kg FIBC.

When is it applied?

Verdara® Broadacre is applied three times across the crop program. For wheat, the standard timing model is:

  • Tillering — GS25–30
  • Booting — GS40–47
  • Heading / grain fill — GS55–65

For barley and canola, timing may be adapted by crop, variety, region and agronomic program.

Do I need specialist equipment?

No. Verdara® Broadacre is designed to be applied through standard boom spray equipment. The product is prepared by steeping, filtering, diluting and applying as a foliar spray through existing farm equipment. No cold chain or specialist application infrastructure is required.

Is yield uplift guaranteed?

No. Verdara® Broadacre targets 15–25% yield uplift in the current broadacre wheat model, but this is not a guarantee. Actual results vary by crop, variety, soil type, climate, seasonal conditions, application timing, water quality, tank-mix compatibility and farm management. All ROI and financial figures are forward-looking estimates only.

Can Verdara® be tank mixed?

Verdara® Broadacre may be aligned with existing spray passes where compatible. Growers should consult their agronomist and conduct a small compatibility test before tank mixing Verdara® with fertilisers, fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, adjuvants or other agricultural inputs
