Verdara® is a field-ready liquid foliar biostimulant based on a naturally complex profile of plant-derived compounds. These naturally occurring compound groups are associated with plant growth, plant architecture, metabolic activity and responses to environmental stress during commercially important development windows.

In animal-feed systems, the application program is aligned with the production objective — harvestable biomass for mechanically harvested Fodder, or growth and regrowth within the farm's grazing rotation for Pasture.

Biostimulant growth factors

Naturally occurring cytokinin-related compounds including zeatin, together with auxin- and gibberellin-related growth signals, support cell division and elongation, root and vascular development, plant architecture and developmental processes associated with productive growth.

Free and peptide-bound amino acid complexes

Free and peptide-bound amino acids provide biological building blocks and energy substrates that support protein synthesis, enzyme activity and chlorophyll formation during rapid growth windows.

Natural micronutrient matrix

A naturally balanced mineral matrix containing potassium, phosphorus, nitrogen, calcium and trace elements including zinc, iron and manganese supports core plant metabolism, photosynthetic enzyme function and carbohydrate metabolism.

Natural osmoprotectant compounds

Amino acids including proline and glutathione contribute to osmoprotection and cellular water balance under environmental stress such as drought and extreme heat.

Antioxidants and stress regulators

Vitamin C, tocopherols and flavonoids contribute antioxidant and photoprotective functions, helping manage reactive oxygen species and excessive UV stress.

Performance measured in feed, not grain.

For Harvested Fodder, commercial performance is measured through the additional feed produced per hectare — particularly harvestable biomass, dry matter and the value of that feed on farm.

The equation is simple: produce more usable feed, value that feed, then subtract the Verdara® program cost.

Commercial modelling is based on additional harvestable dry matter and the farm's applicable feed value. Farmbright® is not publishing a numerical Verdara® Fodder uplift target until the final performance framework is approved. Actual outcomes vary by crop, species, season, soil, management and application timing.

Pasture follows the rotation.

Grazed pasture is a continuously managed biological system. The appropriate Verdara® application strategy depends not only on the plant, but on when livestock enter the paddock, how heavily it is grazed, the rest period before re-entry and the rate at which the pasture regenerates.

Farmbright® therefore develops pasture programs in consultation with the grower rather than applying a fixed universal schedule.

Verdara® FAQ.

What is Verdara® Fodder?

Verdara® Fodder is Farmbright®'s liquid foliar biostimulant pathway for animal-feed production. It includes a current three-application working program for mechanically harvested fodder and a tailored application pathway for grazed pasture.

What is the difference between Harvested Fodder and Grazed Pasture?

Harvested Fodder is mechanically cut for hay, silage or forage and can currently follow a structured working crop program. Grazed Pasture is consumed directly by livestock and is repeatedly grazed and regenerated, so its Verdara® program must be built around the farm's actual grazing rotation.

How many applications does Harvested Fodder use?

The current working program uses three applications: one during establishment/early vegetative growth followed by two applications during active vegetative growth and biomass accumulation. Timing, volume and frequency may be refined by crop through field testing and/or qualified agronomic advice.

Why is the third Fodder application earlier than a grain crop?

For mechanically harvested fodder, a major part of commercial value is the vegetative biomass itself. The program therefore concentrates applications through the crop's biomass-building period rather than reserving a third application for a later grain-fill or finish stage.

What does Harvested Fodder cost?

Current standard Harvested Fodder programs are expected to sit from $125/ha + GST, with freight additional. Final crop-program price follows the prescribed Verdara® volume.

What does a Pasture program cost?

Pasture pricing is set after Farmbright® reviews the species, grazing rotation and proposed seasonal application program. Verdara® crop programs begin from $95/ha + GST.

Which pasture species can Farmbright work with?

Farmbright® can assess common grazing systems including ryegrass, kikuyu, fescue and mixed pasture systems. A recommendation is made only after reviewing the actual pasture and grazing rotation.

How is Fodder return measured?

Harvested Fodder return is modelled through additional harvestable dry matter multiplied by feed value per tonne, less the Verdara® program cost. Pasture economics may additionally consider regrowth rate, feed availability and the farm's rotational grazing objectives.

What yield increase does Farmbright expect?

Farmbright® is not publishing a numerical Fodder or Pasture uplift target until Dr Gustavo's final performance framework is approved.

How is Verdara® prepared for farm use?

Verdara® is supplied as a field-ready liquid concentrate for the grower to measure, dilute and apply according to the relevant Fodder or Pasture program. No on-farm extraction or steeping is required.

Can the Harvested Fodder program change?

Yes. The current three-application program is working guidance. Application timing, volume and frequency may be refined through crop-specific testing and/or qualified agronomic advice.
